{"params":{"colorway":{"type":"choice","default":"tarred","label":"Colourway","describe":"Curated Coast groyne scheme; sets all five zone albedos at once, and every scheme keeps the same role order (piles darkest, weed a dark umber or olive, boards mid timber, rust on the straps, sand palest). tarred is the approved default: sawn brown boards between near-black tarred piles. greenheart has grey boards on green-black hardwood piles. silvered is an old groyne, pale grey boards on grey piles over pale sand. creosote has dark brown boards, near-black piles, olive weed and a darker wet-looking sand. The kit's accent red is in none of them.","options":["tarred","greenheart","silvered","creosote"]},"piece":{"type":"choice","default":"straight","label":"Piece","describe":"Which member of the groyne set this build is. The whole run is one level height: planking to 1.250, front piles to 1.500, back piles to 1.620, with no step. Every value presents the SAME dead-flat landward face at x = -2.000 (a front-row half pile to 1.500, planking to 1.250 stopping 20 mm short), so any value butts the seaward face of a straight bay placed at the same height, 4 m landward. straight is a plain 4 m bay whose seaward face at x = +2.000 is that same face, so bays chain level. end closes the groyne at sea with a braced king pile head at +1.45: a 0.36 m king pile standing 0.6 m over the front piles (top 2.120), an X brace across the end face and a tarred waling with rusted bolts along the front. corner is a dog-legged head: at +1.45 a 0.40 m king pile elbow (top 1.850) turns the run 90 degrees toward the up-drift side (-Z), so the head is an L, and the return ends 0.87 m on in a strapped pile pair at the run height. On both heads the scour knob cuts a cusped hollow round the tip.","affects":"geometry","options":["straight","end","corner"]},"scour":{"type":"range","default":0.4,"label":"Scour","describe":"What the longshore drift has done to the sand at this groyne, as real geometry and never a tint. It moves sand from the down-drift face (+Z, the side the store camera sees) onto the up-drift face (-Z). At 0 both faces carry the same 0.30 m bank burying the bottom board and the pile feet. At 1 the down-drift face is scoured bare to y = 0, so the whole pile foot and the bottom board are exposed, and the up-drift bank has grown to 0.60 m. On an end or corner head it also opens a hollow round the tip down to the brace and pile feet, framed by two sand horns: the cusped scour hollow. Every bank stays attached to the planking and piles, stops 35 mm short of a mating face and stays inside a 1.95 m depth at every value.","affects":"geometry","min":0,"max":1,"step":0.05},"tide":{"type":"range","default":0.4,"label":"Tide","describe":"Where the water is and what it does to the weed. The part is built for a flat water plane at y = 0.60 x tide (0 at low water on a still morning, 0.60 m at high water in a blow, which half drowns the groyne and matches the top of the deck run's wet band). Every weed strand is re-routed against that plane as geometry: above it the strand hangs dead still. Where the water covers the sand at the wall, the rest of the strand lies flat out along the surface. Tufts rooted below the water float up to it and lie along it.
